Althea Rig:

This is the rig demo of the hero character in my FIEA capstone project "Izcalli of the Wind." This biped rig incorporates space switching in both feet. This allows the animator to connect and disconnect the character to the board. This also contains a reverse IK foot, a squash and stretch bun, and IKFK arms. I rigged and skin weighted this character.

Animatronic Face Rig:

I created a facial rig that has realistic jaw movements with the restrictions of an animatronic. Each of the joints only have 1 degree of freedom. I created dual IKs that move in unison when moving the mechanics of the jaw. This is all done with parenting joints and no set driven keys or expressions. I was inspired after seeing the avatar animatronic at Disney World and wanted to see if I could created something like that in Maya.
